Weihai Guangtai Airport Equipment Co.,Ltd is the Leading China based manufacturer of Ground support equipment, specializing in the development and the manufacturing of a complete spectrum of ramp and airport ground handling equipment.

 

Weihai Guangtai was established in 1991 by Mr. Li Guangtai who is a senior researcher and professor of engineering.

 

In 2007, Guangtai was listed in Shengzhen Stock Exchange, which was a significant milestone for the company. After years of development effort, by the end of 2010, the Registered Capital reached 147.43 million RMB; the Total Assets is 1206 million RMB and Fixed Assets was 296 million RMB. In 2010, the Annual Sales Revenue was 505 million RMB.

 

Guangtai believes that the talent is vital importance for business   development. Amongst the 900 employees, technical personnel account for 26% of our total employees. There are 35 senior engineers and more than 28 people holding a master’s degree or above.

 

By 2010, Guangtai has already obtained 161 technical patents, including 10 invention patents, 1 patent that registered in U.S.A. What is more, Guangtai has been approved as a Technical Research Center of The State for GSE industry by the government of China.

In the history of Guangtai’s development, innovation has been a core driving force. We started with the R&D in manufacturing of Ground Power Unit and gradually extended to all GSE products. At present, we have developed 26 categories including 120 models.  Most of our products occupy 40 to 60 percent market share in China market comparing to the equivalents from the other GSE manufacturers.  Till 2011, the products of Weihai Guangtai have been exported to more than 30 countries around the world.

In order to provide swift technical and part service to the end-users, we have established 9 after-sales service bases: Beijing, Shanghai, Shengzhen, Chengdu, Kunming, Xi’an, Urumqi, Harbin and Hongkong, with complete spare parts inventory, and fast delivery network. For the domestic market, we promise the service will be available within 24 hours. For the international market, we have selected representatives/distributors with after-sales service capability.
